Why we are trusted

The right to vote is one of the primary foundations of democracy, and by this, we make sure that our e-voting system procedures comply with the principles of democratic elections and referendums.

We take steps to ensure that voters understand and have confidence in the voting systems we use. We provide information on the functioning of our voting systems and also make them publicly available. We allow any observers, to the extent permitted by law, to be present to observe and comment on the e-elections, including the establishing of the results

We take all possible steps to avoid the possibility of fraud or unauthorised intervention affecting the system during the whole voting process. We also have measures to preserve the availability of our voting services during the voting process and ensure to resist, in particular, malfunction, breakdowns or denial of service attacks

We have incorporated mechanisms such as audit systems for monitoring election activities. Verifiability is a priority and as such, have provided means of recounting and re-running an entire election completely

Our voting application is built upon the Recommendation Rec(2004)11 of the Council of Europe's guidelines on legal, operational and technical standards for e-voting
